Where am I?
This simple question has obsessed me for many years.
Starting with my degree as a surveying technician, continuing in my studies to become a vehicle technology engineer, and then in my postgraduate studies in digital signal processing. In the certificate course “How to program a Self Driving Car” it became apparent that the core part of car applications is ego position estimation.
Several Kalman Filter tutorials and research papers later, this is now my profession, including:
- at ZIGPOS, where I help drive positioning solutions for indoor applications as Chief Innovation Officer,
- at MechLab Engineering, where I provide engineering services and am, among others, the Principal Location Engineer for Sheeva.AI
Since 2021, I am the Eastern Regional Director in the Bundesverband Künstliche Intelligenz.
